Коли використовуємо
Передаємо питання інших людей без лапок, перетворюючи пряму мову на непряму.
Yes/No: ask + if / whether + порядок як в твердженні.
Wh: ask + wh‑word + порядок твердження.
“Do you like coffee?” → She asked if I liked coffee.
«Тобі подобається кава?» → Вона спитала, чи подобається мені кава.
Як утворюється

Примітки
- Порядок слів як у твердженні (без do/does/did та інверсії).
- Крапка замість знака питання.
- if / whether для Yes/No; зберігаємо who / what / where / when / why / how.
- Backshift: з asked / said / told час зсувається назад (work → worked).
- Маркери: today → that day; yesterday → the day before; tomorrow → the next day; here → there.
