Future Continuous 使用する

未来進行形は、未来のある特定の時点で進行中である動作、未来に起こっている過程、または誰かの予定についての丁寧な質問を表すために使われます。

Future Continuous ルール

• 未来の特定の時点で進行中になっている動作を表すのに使われます。
  At 9 p.m. I will be studying.
  午後9時には私は勉強しているでしょう。
  This time next week, they will be relaxing by the sea.
  来週の今頃、彼らは海辺でくつろいでいるでしょう。
• それは、単にそれが起こるという事実だけでなく、将来の行動の進行中の過程を強調するために使われます。

  ✅ I will work tomorrow. (fact)
• それは、将来に別の行動が起こるときに進行中である行動に使われます。
  When you arrive, we will be having dinner.

  She will be sleeping when you call.
  あなたが電話をかける時、彼女は眠っているでしょう。
• それは、他の人の予定について丁寧に尋ねる際に使うことができます。
  Will you be using the car tonight?

• 一般的な時を表す語句には、次のようなものがあります：
  明日の今ごろ、午後5時に、今夜、夕方じゅう、〜するとき、〜している間
  We will be driving all night.
  私たちは一晩中車を運転するでしょう。
  At noon tomorrow, he will be meeting the client.
  明日の正午には、彼はクライアントと会っている予定です。
• -ingの作り方には、簡単なつづりのルールがあります。
  • 動詞が-eで終わる場合は、eを取って-ingを付けます。
  • 動詞が子音‐母音‐子音で終わる場合、最後の子音を重ねます。
  • 動詞が-ieで終わる場合、それをyに変えて-ingを付けます。
  make → making, run → running, lie → lying
• 状態動詞の中には、過程ではなく状態・感情・意見・知識を表すため、通常は進行形で使われないものがあります。これには、know、like、want、need、understand、believe、remember、love、hate、prefer、mean、seem などがよく含まれます。
  ✅ I will know the answer tomorrow.

  ❌ I will be knowing the answer tomorrow.
  ✅ She will understand everything soon.

  ❌ She will be understanding everything soon.
  ✅ They will need more time.

  ❌ They will be needing more time.

Future Continuous 否定

• 否定形は、will not be または短縮形の won't be で作られます。
  I won't be working tomorrow evening.
  明日の夕方は働きません。
  She will not be staying at home tonight.
  彼女は今夜、家には泊まらないでしょう。
  They won't be waiting for us for long.
  彼らは長くは私たちを待ってくれないだろう。

Future Continuous 質問

疑問文では、will は主語の前に来て、be は -ing を伴う動詞の前にそのまま置かれます。
