Present Simple は、習慣や日課、一般的な事実、予定や時刻表、そして変わらない状況を表すときに使います。

Present Simple ルール

三人称単数（he/she/it）では、動詞に -s または -es を付けます。
He works in an office.
She watches online courses.

三人称単数のスペルのルール：
-
-o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x で終わる動詞 → -es を付ける
He goes to the gym.
She washes the dishes.

子音字 + y で終わる動詞 → y は ies に変わる
He studies English every day.

母音字 + y で終わる動詞 → そのまま -s を付ける
She plays tennis on Sundays.

頻度を表す副詞は通常、一般動詞の前に置き、to be の後ろに置きます。

Present Simple は、時刻表や予定、定期的な出来事について話すときによく使われます。

know, like, love, hate, understand, believe などの動詞は、通常進行形では使いません。
