Past Simple përdorim

Past Simple përdoret për veprime të përfunduara në të kaluarën, shpesh me një kohë të përfunduar (dje, javën e kaluar, në 2019).

I finished the task yesterday.
E përfundova detyrën dje.

Past Simple Formë

Subject + V2 / V-ed.

She worked late.
Ajo punoi deri vonë.
They went home early.
Ata shkuan në shtëpi herët.

Past Simple Rregull

  • Shpesh përdorim shënjues të kohës së kaluar:
    dje, javën e kaluar, në 2019, para dy ditësh
    We met last week.
    Ne u takuam javën e kaluar.
    He called two hours ago.
    Ai telefonoi para dy orësh.
  • Për foljet e rregullta shtojmë -ed (me disa rregulla drejtshkrimore).
    work → worked, play → played
    like → liked, stop → stopped, study → studied
  • Rregullat e drejtshkrimit:
    • Nëse një folje përfundon me -e, shto vetëm -d (si → liked).
    • Nëse një folje mbaron me një bashkëtingëllore + -y, ndrysho y në i dhe shto -ed (study → studied).
    • Nëse një folje njërrokëshe mbaron me bashkëtingëllore–zanore–bashkëtingëllore, dyfishoni bashkëtingëlloren e fundit (stop → stopped).
  • Foljet e parregullta kanë një formë të veçantë V2:
    shkoj → shkoi, blej → bleu
    I bought a new phone.
    Bleva një telefon të ri.
    They went to the office.
    Ata shkuan në zyrë.
  • Folja be në Past Simple: was / were
    I was tired.
    Isha i lodhur.
    They were at home.
    Ata ishin në shtëpi.

Past Simple Mohim

  • Me shumicën e foljeve përdorim didn't + V1 (folja mbetet në formën bazë pas didn't).
    ✅ I didn't go there.
    ❌ I didn't went there.
    She didn't answer the message.
    Ajo nuk iu përgjigj mesazhit.
  • Me be përdorim wasn't / weren't.
    He wasn't ready.
    Ai nuk ishte gati.
    We weren't in the meeting.
    Ne nuk ishim në mbledhje.

Past Simple Pyetje

Në pyetjet me shumicën e foljeve përdorim did + V1; me be përdorim përmbysje (was/were para kryefjalës).

Past Simple Fjali

Yesterday I finished the report and sent it to my manager.
Dje e përfundova raportin dhe ia dërgova menaxherit tim.
Last week we visited a new restaurant near the office.
Javën e kaluar vizituam një restorant të ri pranë zyrës.
She bought a new laptop two days ago.
Ajo bleu një laptop të ri para dy ditësh.
He called me in the evening and asked about the meeting.
Ai më telefonoi në mbrëmje dhe pyeti për takimin.
They moved to a new apartment last month.
Ata u shpërngulën në një apartament të ri muajin e kaluar.
