Present Simple ใช้พูดถึงนิสัย ข้อเท็จจริงทั่วไป ตารางเวลา และสถานการณ์ที่ถาวร


  • นิสัยและกิจวัตรประจำวัน
    I usually drink coffee in the morning.
    ฉันมักจะดื่มกาแฟในตอนเช้า
  • ข้อเท็จจริงและความจริงทั่วไป
    Water boils at 100°C.
    น้ำเดือดที่อุณหภูมิ 100°C.

    The train leaves at 8:30.

Present Simple รูปแบบ

Subject + V1
He / She / It + V1(+s)

I work from home three days a week. She works from home three days a week.

Present Simple กฎ

  • ในบุรุษที่สามเอกพจน์ (he/she/it) จะเติม -s หรือ -es ที่คำกริยา
    He works in an office.
    She watches online courses.
  • กฎการสะกดคำสำหรับบุรุษที่สามเอกพจน์:
    • คำกริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย -o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x → เติม -es
      He goes to the gym.
      She washes the dishes.
    • คำกริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วยพยัญชนะ + y → y เปลี่ยนเป็น ies
      He studies English every day.
    • คำกริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วยสระ + y → เติม -s เท่านั้น
      She plays tennis on Sundays.
  • คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกความถี่มักวางไว้หน้ากริยาหลัก และหลังคำกริยา to be
    I always check my email in the morning.
    She is often late for meetings.
  • Present Simple มักใช้กับตารางเวลาและเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นประจำ
    The meeting starts at 10.
    Our team call takes place every Monday.
  • คำกริยาบางคำ (เช่น know, like, love, hate, understand, believe) โดยปกติจะไม่ใช้ในรูป continuous
    I know the answer.
    She likes this app.

Present Simple การปฏิเสธ

I / you / we / they do not (don’t) + V1
he / she / it does not (doesn’t) + V1

I don’t drink coffee in the evening.
He doesn’t check messages at night.

Present Simple คำถาม

  • คำถามแบบ Yes/No สร้างโดยใช้กริยาช่วย do และ does

    Do + I / you / we / they + V1?
    Does + he / she / it + V1?

    Do you work from home?
    Does she work on Sundays?
  • หลัง does กริยาหลักจะใช้ในรูปพื้นฐาน (ไม่เติม -s)
    Does she work on Sundays?
    Does he play tennis?
  • คำตอบสั้น ๆ:
    Do you like coffee?
    — Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
    Does he study English?
    — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
  • คำถาม Wh สร้างโดยใช้คำถาม + do/does

    Wh-word + do + I / you / we / they + V1?
    Wh-word + does + he / she / it + V1?

  • เมื่อคำถามเกี่ยวกับประธาน จะไม่ใช้ do/does
