Present Simple משתמשים

משתמשים ב-Present Simple כדי לתאר הרגלים, אמיתות כלליות, לוחות זמנים ומצבים קבועים.


  • הרגלים ושגרה יומיומית
    I usually drink coffee in the morning.
    בדרך כלל אני שותה קפה בבוקר.
  • עובדות ואמיתות כלליות
    Water boils at 100°C.
    המים רותחים ב-100°C.
  • לוחות זמנים ומערכי שעות
    The train leaves at 8:30.
    הרכבת יוצאת בשעה 8:30.
  • מצבים קבועים או ארוכי טווח
    She works in a software company.
    היא עובדת בחברת תוכנה.

Present Simple צורה

Subject + V1
He / She / It + V1(+s)

I work from home three days a week. She works from home three days a week.

Present Simple כלל

  • בגוף שלישי יחיד (he/she/it) מוסיפים לפועל -s או -es.
    He works in an office.
    She watches online courses.
  • כללי כתיב לגוף שלישי יחיד:
    • פעלים המסתיימים ב־-o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x → מוסיפים -es
      He goes to the gym.
      She washes the dishes.
    • פועל המסתיים בעיצור + y → ה-y הופכת ל-ies
      He studies English every day.
    • פועל המסתיים בתנועה + y → פשוט מוסיפים -s
      She plays tennis on Sundays.
  • תוארי תדירות בדרך כלל באים לפני הפועל הראשי ואחרי הפועל to be.
    I always check my email in the morning.
    She is often late for meetings.
  • משתמשים ב-Present Simple לעיתים קרובות כאשר מדברים על לוחות זמנים ואירועים קבועים.
    The meeting starts at 10.
    Our team call takes place every Monday.
  • חלק מהפעלים (כמו know, like, love, hate, understand, believe) בדרך כלל אינם משמשים בצורת ה-Continuous.
    I know the answer.
    She likes this app.

Present Simple שלילה

I / you / we / they do not (don’t) + V1
he / she / it does not (doesn’t) + V1

I don’t drink coffee in the evening.
He doesn’t check messages at night.

Present Simple שאלות

  • שאלות כן/לא נוצרות בעזרת פעלי העזר do ו-does.

    Do + I / you / we / they + V1?
    Does + he / she / it + V1?

    Do you work from home?
    Does she work on Sundays?
  • אחרי does משתמשים בפועל הראשי בצורת הבסיס (בלי ‎-s).
    Does she work on Sundays?
    Does he play tennis?
  • תשובות קצרות:
    Do you like coffee?
    — Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
    Does he study English?
    — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
  • שאלות Wh נוצרות בעזרת מילת שאלה + do/does.

    Wh-word + do + I / you / we / they + V1?
    Wh-word + does + he / she / it + V1?

    Where do you work?
    Why does she get up early?
    When does the train leave?
  • כאשר השאלה היא על הנושא (ה-subject), לא משתמשים ב-do/does.
    Who works in this office?
    Who lives here?

הוא לא שותה קפה בערב.
