Past Continuous 使用
过去进行时用于描述过去某一特定时刻正在发生的动作、持续进行的过程、背景情况、同时发生的动作，以及被另一事件打断的动作。
I was working on the report at 7 p.m.

构成 -ing 有一些简单的拼写规则。
- 如果动词以 -e 结尾，我们就去掉 e 并加上 -ing。
- 如果动词以辅音-元音-辅音结尾，我们就双写最后一个辅音字母。
- 如果动词以 -ie 结尾，我们就把它改成 y，然后加上 -ing。
make → making, run → running, lie → lying -
有些动词通常不用于进行时（know、like、want、need、understand）。
