Something, anything, nothing, ਆਦਿ. ਅਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਸਰਵਨਾਮ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਵਸਤੂ ਜਾਂ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ।

- -body ਅਤੇ -one ਲਗਭਗ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਅਰਥ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ: somebody = someone, anybody = anyone, nobody = no one.
- No one ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। Noone ਇੱਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਹੈ।
- ਇਹ ਸਰਵਨਾਮ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਕਵਚਨ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ: ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ..., ਕੁਝ ਹੈ..., ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ...
